SLS 3D printing with PA12+aluminum (Alumide)

The material Alumide from EOS is an aluminum-filled PA12. Components laser-sintered from this material have a metallic appearance and a density that is approx. 45% higher than normal PA12. Thanks to their high thermal conductivity, SLS 3D printed components made of Alumide have an excellent temperature property profile and are very dimensionally stable even at higher temperatures. Alumide components are also very easy to mechanically post-process, grind, and machine.
