SLS 3D printing with PA11 white (PA1101)

The material PA1101 is a white, non-reinforced polyamide 11. Thanks to its balanced material properties, this SLS material is suitable for functional components in a wide range of applications. Laser-sintered components made from this material are particularly impact-resistant, ductile, and do not splinter when broken. The melting point of PA11 is 201 °C, making the material more temperature-resistant than PA12 and therefore well suited for additively manufactured plastic components that are used in environments with increased temperature stress. As the material PA1101 is based on renewable raw materials (castor oil), SLS 3D-printed components made from this material are sustainable and resource-friendly.
